Welcome to our little corner of the country!

Our homesteading journey began over 20 years ago when we purchased our home here in New Brunswick, Canada. We started with a couple of acres, some chickens, and a pony, never imagining the wonderful, chaotic adventure ahead of us!

One of the biggest turning points came when our girls were little and struggled with lactose intolerance. We brought home our first dairy goats to see if fresh goat's milk would make a difference. It did—and those goats changed our lives in more ways than we ever expected!

What began as a practical decision quickly grew into a love for raising goats, making things from scratch, and embracing a simpler way of life.

Life With Our Nubian Goats

Today, our Nubians are a huge part of Heritage Drive Homestead. With their long floppy ears, big personalities, and endless ability to make us laugh, there's rarely a dull moment around here!

Some days they're sweet, some days they're stubborn, and most days they're up to something they probably shouldn't be.

Sharing their everyday antics has connected us with a wonderful community of goat lovers and homestead dreamers from all over.

A Little Bit of Everything We Love

Life here is a mix of caring for our animals, baking from scratch, experimenting with fresh-milled flour, sharing favourite recipes, and creating projects inspired by country living.

We love the simple things, even when life around the barn is anything but simple!

Inspired by Our Own Herd

If you've found us through one of our goat videos, you've probably already met some of the personalities behind our creations!

Our own Nubian goats inspire many of the T-shirts, calendars, and gifts you'll find in our shop. We love creating things that bring a little laughter, country charm, and goat joy into everyday life.

Whether you're a fellow goat owner, dreaming of your own homestead, or simply enjoy following along, we're so glad you're here.

From our family to yours—welcome to Heritage Drive Homestead!
